FIRST FRIDAY COMMUNION CALLS: to the elderly will take place on Thursday 3rd
November and Friday 4th November beginning at 1.30pm. Please inform your
relatives and friends.

SATURDAY 19TH NOVEMBER: The visit of the Apostolic Nuncio, Most Rev.
Archbishop Charles Brown, is a great honour for our place. A Programme of
Events is being drawn up so that the people of our area can be involved.
Besides launching our Missionary book, Going Global for God, he has kindly
accepted the invitation to say Mass in our Church and to bless and open
Gairdín Mhuire at the Holy Well. You are most welcome to attend all these
historic events.

DECEASED OF PAST YEAR: In St. Mary’s Church, Ballyheigue at 8.00pm Vigil
Mass on Saturday November 12th we will prayerfully remember all those who
have died during the past year. Relatives are asked to collect a candle
from members of the Liturgy Group at the front door on their way in.
During Mass they will be asked to bring the candle to the Altar where it
will be lit in remembrance of their loved one. If you would like to
remember others who died since last November outside of the Parish please
hand in their names during the week to the Parish Office.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 24th October in
the Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 1-22-24-27. Jackpot was
not won. The €50 winner was: Joan Crowley, C/o Christina. The €25 winners
were Jim O’Halloran, C/o Kitty; D Dowling C/o John B. and Patrick Hanlon,
C/o Diarmuid. Next week’s Jackpot €5,200.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
6-10-22-30. The Jackpot of €4,500 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will
be €4,550. The two €50 winners were: Nell Mooney, Dreenagh and Ina
Casey, Cliff
Road. The €25 winner was: Teresa Burkett, Church Road, Ballyheigue.

GAA UNDER 15s: The Ballyheigue U-15 hurlers won the Tom Healy Shield at
Abbeydorney on Friday evening when they had a great victory over Crotta
in the Final. The team was captained by Ciaran Casey, and Nathan Guerin
was named ‘Man of the Match’. Full time score – Ballyheigue 3-7 and Crotta
1-7.
