RECOVERY HAVEN KERRY (Cancer Support House) – will host free nutrition
information talks aimed at helping you understand more about nutrition,
eating well during and after treatment, practical tips and advice. Cooking
& Cancer talks for those with cancer – Monday March 13th & 27th, 11.00 to
1.00pm, Cooking, Caring & Cancer talks for those caring for someone with
cancer Wednesday March 15th and 29th 7-9.00pm. Further information contact

FEAST OF ST. PATRICK: Friday is the feast of our National Apostle, Vigil
Mass on Thursday at 8.00pm and Mass on Friday morning at 10.00am. Don’t
forget to wear your shamrock.

ST PATRICK’S DAY PARADE: The Parade will leave the Grotto at 3.00pm on
Friday 17th March and will proceed to the Beach car park. Businesses,
community groups and families are busy creating for the spectacle, and you
are invited to come along with family and friends for a very enjoyable
event.

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 6th March in the
Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 11-14-19-25. Jackpot was not
won. The €50 winner was: Zach Shanahan, C/o Diarmuid. The €25 winners
were: Ena Mac, C/o Macs, Judy Couchman, C/o Kitty and Aron Harris, C/o
M.O’H. Next week’s Jackpot €6,100.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
1-16-21-28. The Jackpot of €5,350 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will
be €5,400. The two €50 winners were: Margaret O’Sullivan, Bouleenshere and
Joanne Barrett, Mountway. The €25 winner was Joan Casey, Church Road,
Ballyheigue.

GAA RESULT: The Ballyheigue Senior hurlers were defeated by Crotta in Round
1 of the North Kerry League on Saturday last. Both teams were under
strength. Final score Crotta 0-14 and Ballyheigue 0-11.

FIXTURES: North Kerry Senior League Round 2 – Ballyheigue v St. Brendan’s
on Friday St. Patrick’s Day at John Joe O’Sullivan Park. Note time
11.00am. This game will also double up as a county League fixture. Co.
U-16 hurling league Round 1 Ballyheigue v Abbeydorney at Abbeydorney this
Sunday 4.00pm

KERRY HURLERS: The Kerry Senior hurlers were defeated by Galway in the
N.H.L. at Austin Stack’s Park on Sunday last, final score Kerry 0-12 and
Galway 1-22. Philip Lucid was a member of the panel.
