GLENDAHALAN MASS: The annual Mass at Tobar na Súl, Glendahalan takes
place on Wednsday 7th June at 7.30 pm.

WETHERS WELL, TUBRID: Mass will take place in honour of St Brendan,
Ardfert on Tuesday the 16th of May at 7.30pm. Young people from the Parish
will be involved. Please note Mass will be held in Ardfert church if the
weather is bad.

FIRST COMMUNION: Next Saturday at 11.00am Mass our children will receive
their First Holy Communion. Thanks to their teachers Mrs Susan Crean and
Mr Terence Dineen and to their parents towards making this a great
spiritual occasion and a day to remember.

ALL IRELAND WINNERS – Ballyheigue U-14 Draughts Team – The boys sailed
through the Semi-finals and met with strong opposition from Carlow in the
Final. When the boys emerged victorious from the enclosed room, much to the
delight of everyone present, there were lots of Cheers and Tears. It’s been
an emotional rollercoaster for these boys who have for 5 years followed the
Gold Medals. We are so proud of them all and Thank Terence for all the work
and time he has put in training our boys. It really has been a community
effort. Thanks to everyone who came out for the Homecoming on Sunday
evening.

GAA LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn at last Sunday’s GAA Lotto:
4-19-23-30 The Jackpot of €5,800 was not won. Next week’s Jackpot will be
€5,850. The two €50 winners were: Sonny Casey Ballylongane and Karen
James, Ballylongane. The €25 winner was Mary C. Horgan, Chapel Road,
Ballyheigue.

UNDER 16s: The Ballyheigue U-16 hurlers had a narrow one point victory over
Kenmare/Kilgarvan in the Co League Div 1 simi-final on Thursday evening.
There was very little between the teams all through. It took a last minute
goal from Nathan Guerin to get them into the Co League Final in which they
will play Crotta on Friday evening 7pm,venue to be confirmed.

UNDER 12s: The U12 hurlers received a walk over from Dr Crokes on Friday
evening in the Co League

SENIOR: The senior hurlers were defeated by Crotta in the Co League on
Friday evening, score Ballyheigue 1-7 and Crotta 2-14. The senior hurlers
put in a spirited display against Lixnaw also in the Co League on Sunday.
Score Ballyheigue 1-11 and Lixnaw 0-23.

at John Joe O’ Sullivan Park 7pm. Co U-12 hurling league Ballyheigue v

CAUSEWAY CAMOGIE NEWS: Causeway Camogie Club winners of the County Feile
Competition are heading to Kilmacow, Co. Kilkenny to represent Kerry in the
All Ireland Camogie Feile Competition on the weekend of the 16th June. This
is a fantastic opportunity for the girls and an experience they will
remember and cherish forever. We have girls from Lixnaw, Ballyduff,
Ballyheigue & Causeway on the team. As you all know to send a team to Feile
costs quite a bit. So over the next few weeks parents & mentors of the club
will be approaching business & the general public for any contribution that
they might like to make. Also donations can be dropped into Ernest in
Hanly’s (Chairman of our club) or given to any of the club officers. All
donations greatly appreciated. Thanking you for your continued support.
Congratulations to Ellen O’ Donoghue on coming 2nd in the County Camogie
Skills competition which was held in Abbeydorney on Sunday

COURSING LOTTO: The following numbers were drawn on Monday 1st May in the
Ballyheigue & District Coursing Club Lotto: 2-6-22-29. The Jackpot was not
won. The €50 winner was Linda Hayes, C/o Christina. The €25 winners were:
