What to See, What to do
Ballyheigue is a particularly active community with many groups organising and taking part in a range of community activities and events. Summer festivals, Half Marathons, St. Patrick Day Parades, Christmas Swims, horse racing on the beach and much much more.
The support for all these events is exceptional and the number of willing volunteers is extraordinary. Almost every week there is something to look forward too and many of the fundraisers are fun in their own right.
The Family Resource Centre provides a number of essential services and supports incuding after schools, play therapy and much more whilst the Community Centre provides services and activities for many groups
